We accept payments in multiple currencies. Available currencies and exchange rates are provided by Stripe based on your location.
Primary Currencies

- EUR - Euro
- USD - US Dollar
Currency Conversion
- Prices displayed at checkout in your selected currency
- Exchange rates determined by Stripe at time of transaction
- No additional currency conversion fees from Dapita
- Your bank may charge foreign transaction fees (check with your card issuer)
4. Pricing & Taxes
Price Display
All prices shown include applicable taxes. What you see at checkout is what you pay - no hidden fees.
Value Added Tax (VAT)
- UK customers: Prices include 20% VAT where applicable
- EU customers: VAT rate depends on your country (reverse charge may apply for business customers with valid VAT number)
- Non-EU customers: No VAT charged (prices exclude VAT)
Digital Services (eSIM)
eSIM purchases are classified as electronically supplied services:
- UK VAT applies to UK customers (20%)
- EU VAT applies to EU customers (rate varies by country)
- No VAT for customers outside UK/EU
Business Customers
If you're a VAT-registered business in the EU (outside UK):
- Provide your valid VAT number during checkout
- Reverse charge mechanism applies (you account for VAT in your country)
- Invoice issued without VAT charge
5. Payment Processing
When is Payment Charged?
- Digital products (eSIM): Charged immediately upon order completion
- Physical products: Charged when order is confirmed (before shipping)
Payment Authorization
When you place an order:
- Payment method is authorized (funds reserved)
- Order is processed and confirmed
- Payment is captured (funds transferred to us)
- Receipt emailed to you automatically
Failed Payments
If your payment fails:
- You'll be notified immediately at checkout
- Common reasons: insufficient funds, incorrect card details, bank decline, 3D Secure failure
- Try a different payment method or contact your bank
- Order is not created until payment succeeds
6. Invoices & Receipts
Automatic Receipt
A payment receipt is automatically emailed to you after successful payment, containing:
- Order number and date
- Items purchased
- Amount paid (including taxes)
- Payment method used (last 4 digits)
VAT Invoices
To request a full VAT invoice:
- During checkout: Provide complete billing details and VAT number (if applicable)
- After purchase: Email support@dapita.travel with order number and billing details
- Invoices issued within 2-3 business days

Refund Processing
- Approved refunds processed within 5-10 business days
- Refunded to original payment method via Stripe
- Bank posting may take additional 3-5 business days
- 100% refund for eligible returns (no processing fees)
Chargebacks & Disputes
If you have an issue with a charge:

- Chargebacks should be a last resort after attempting direct resolution
- False chargebacks may result in account suspension
